Brooklyn Museum Audio/Visual Collection is an artificial collection composed of A/V materials from all departments of the Brooklyn Museum spanning 1950-2010. Largely, the collection documents public programs, educational tours, audio guides, curatorial interviews, and press relating to the Brooklyn Museum.

Scope and Contents The colloquium spans 4 cassette tapes and there are 4 copies. Deborah Schwartz opened with a Welcome Address. Kevin Stayton gave introductory remarks. Dr. Paul Boyer gave an historical overview. Dr. Edward S. Cooke Jr. gave a talk entitled "Biomorphism, craft and mass production". Scope and Contents

This audio documents a lecture from the Library Lecture Series, a series of programs that celebrates the 175th anniversary of the Museum that started as the Brooklyn Apprentices' Library.

Director Arnold Lehman gave opening remarks. Michael Kimmelman spoke about the Brooklyn Museum Libraries and Archives, and the Museum's relationship to design and fashion businesses.
