Black Art Seminar, 1971
This seminar was conducted by Sherry DeCarava and ran for 7 weeks. Youths between 13 and 16 attended the seminar which focused on African and African American art. There were round table discussions, studio workshop sessions, gallery tours, and visits to contemporary Black artists.
Museums Collaborative Inc. Voucher program, 1972-1973, 1976-1977
These folders contain early reports, meetings, and ideas for the cultural voucher program. While between 1975-1985, the Cultural Voucher program operated out of the Brooklyn Museum's Community Services department, it was first concerned with Youths and School programming.
