First Saturdays, 2000
Starting in 1995, the Museum explored late night programming on Thursdays and Fridays. First Saturdays is free late night public programming that was intitially founded in 1998. The Museum has offered hands on art programming, lectures, poetry jams, dancing, and other innovative programming during First Saturdays. Local brands, music, and performers are often employed to give a uniquely Brooklyn experience.

Programming talent is comprised of application files of performers, largely for First Saturday. Performers include bands, solo musicians, dancers, and other performers. Not every performer was selected to perform, but this sub series provides an interesting glimpse into local performers and the local music scene of the 2000s.
These files, like issue mail, were weeded to provide a selection of programming talent.
