Scope and Contents From the Sub-Series: This series is composed of publications produced by the Brooklyn Institute of Arts and Sciences, exhibition catalogs before 1897 or exhibitions not held at the Brooklyn Museum. Additionally, there is a small amount of ephemera about and produced by BIAS. Several of the publications are included in the general Brooklyn Libraries stacks as well. Scope and Contents From the Sub-Series: This sub series is comprised of records relating to departments and larger institutions under the umbrella of the BIAS. BIAS created several large Brooklyn cultural institutions including: Cold Spring Biological Laboratory, Brooklyn Children's Museum, Brooklyn Botanical Garden, Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Acadmey of Music.
