Brooklyn Museum Ephemera Collection
The Brooklyn Museum Ephemera collection contains ephemera created by and about the Brooklyn Museum from 1895-2023. Records from this collection mainly include paper items, such as: advertisements, informational brochures, exhibit announcements, museum maps, as well as objects from the Museum’s gift shop. This collection traces the development of the Museum as a cultural institution and active participant in the Brooklyn community.
Wallace Goold Levinson Collection
The Wallace Goold Levinson Collection is comprised of a typewritten and handwritten manuscript detailing the history of the Brooklyn Institute and related research materials. Wallace Goold Levinson compiled and wrote the history between 18994 and 1922, though the manuscript appears to have been written in 1919. Additionally, there is a small amount of research material and biographical material on Wallace Goold Levinson.
