Docent training programs, circa 1986
These tapes document an in-person training event for docents. Curators and other museum professopnals gave tours and suggested themes and topics for docents to include in their own tours. Diana Fane gave a tour of the first floor, Robert, or Bob, Moes gave a tour of Chinese art and specifically jade and bronze. Patricia Sarro gave a tour of the Andean art. Northwest coast indigenous art was discussed by Ira Jacknis. Oceanic art was also discussed.
