This series contains records from the Directors, Vice Directors, and Deputy Directors of the Education division and the Learning and Social Impact Division. Vice Directors and Deputy Directors are on the highest administrative level of the Museum, at times called the Cabinet.

Most of the records in this sub series document large policy, pedagogy, and/or proposals for new initiatives. There is also a small amount of material related to Decolonize This Place protests.

Scope and Contents From the Sub-Series:

The Brooklyn Museum has a history of providing trainings and resources from teachers that dates back to 1916. 1916 saw the first official training for local teachers in art, visual literacy, and how to utilize the Museum and its collections in the classroom. This subseries is comprised of documentation of teacher workshops, events, and physical resources for teachers to utilize in their classrooms and their visits to the Museum.
