This sub series documents general staff records spanning 1970 through 2023. File types include: job descriptions, organizational charts, intern projects, correspondence, reports, research, and policies. Within the Staff files, there is a sub series that represents the Director's and Vice Director's records.

This series contains records from the Directors, Vice Directors, and Deputy Directors of the Education division and the Learning and Social Impact Division. Vice Directors and Deputy Directors are on the highest administrative level of the Museum, at times called the Cabinet.

Most of the records in this sub series document large policy, pedagogy, and/or proposals for new initiatives. There is also a small amount of material related to Decolonize This Place protests.

Public and Private Schools documents the collaborations between the schools listed and the Brooklyn Museum. Files often contain correspondence, proposals, curriculum, lesson plans, activities, and examples of student work.

Includes didactic panel texts.

Includes Teacher materials with slides as well as examples from the Heard Museum.

Complimenting the curatorial exhibition files, the Education exhibit files often contain correspondence, didactic information, label copy, and programming documentation.

There are several exhibits listed firstthat were either cancelled or never produced/shown. There are 2 that are unclear if they were shown, or were developed differently.

This sub series includes permanent gallery installation packets, exhibition packets, and themed packets catered towards curriculum and Museum objects. Educators could use these materials in the classroom, or as a "self guide" for Museum visits with their classes.
