Scope and Contents From the Sub-Series: The Adopt a School program was a special program between the Brooklyn Museum and several schools including P.S. 236, P.S. 52, and P.S. 321. Generally speaking, this program operated at a time when arts funding in schools were being cut and art teachers were at times forced to give up their classroom for "art on a cart."
