The symposium was titled New Perspectives on Vuillard. Elizabeth Easton gave an introduction. Mary Gordon gave a talk titled "Emptiness and Fullness in Vuillard." "Un relief qui bouge: Vuillard's Theatrical Design" by Susan Sidlauskas. Debra Silverman gave a lecture called "The Fin-de-Siecle and French Montreal Medicine: the Intimate Whirlwind of Dr. Jean-martin Cahrcot". Guy Cogeval gave a lecture titled "Le Pantheon intimiste; the influence of Puvis de Chavannes on Nabis Decorations". Lastly, Tina Barney gave a lecture called "Patterns of Intimism."
