Scope and Contents
Visible enscription "4-10-17. L. Buhle" etched into the plate's emulsion. Louis Buhle was the Brooklyn Botanical Garden's official photographer from 1915 until 1968. Viable that Buhle was affiliated in the creation of this glass plate; a claim supported by further evidence of his authhorship on institutional photographs throughout our collections.
