Includes protest materials handed out by protestors inside of the Brooklyn Museum on 12/8/2023, and protest materials from a protest/rally outside of the Museum on 12/9/2023. The fliers and brochure from 12/8 detail protestors stance in asking the Brooklyn Museum to not remain silent on the Israel and Palestine conflict. The protests call to Boycott, Divest, and Sanction for Palestinian Freedom.

This is an artificial collection created by the Brooklyn Museum archives. It contains materials created by individuals outside of the Brooklyn Museum about the Brooklyn Museum. This in an active collection, and will continue to grow with additions and accruals at sporadic times. Curently this collection documents protests, rallies and demonstrations from 2023 and 2024.

Artist Nikki Giovanni withdrew from the First Saturday programing "when museum leadership refused to issue a public call for a ceasefre in Gaza." This folder contains a brochure that was given out and left in the building during the Fist Saturday event.

Includes protest materials that were handed out at the rally. While the rally seems to have been organized by a variety of groups, the brochure lists 3 demands that the Museum should enact upon.
