Scope and Contents
The Graphic Design Department records consist of samples, drafts, and a small number of finished products for graphic design jobs. While the Graphic Design department has records dating back to 1984, the majority of the records document the department from 2011-2019. This collection includes: label copy, didactic panels, teaching resources, signs, promotional materials for exhibitions and programming, membership materials, development brochures, maps of the Museum, etc.

This collection is arranged by fiscal year as per original order. Within each fiscal year the series are arranged by type of job - exhibit, programming, general, education, development, visitor experience, and membership.
Processing Information
The Graphic Design Department's files were originally arranged by fiscal year, but with every job receiving an individual folder. Jobs related to the same programming, exhibit, or other category were grouped together. Original job information forms were kept to provide clarity.
