Scope and Contents
The Marketing Department records contain contracts, agreements, correspondence, and reports regarding rights, reproductions, and the Museum shop. Agreements include the Application and Request for Permission to Reproduce Works from the Brooklyn Museum. The collection includes revitalization plans for the shop and financial reports of marketing services. Correspondence is primarily between Rena Zurofsky, the Head of Marketing, and various companies, vendors, and organizations regarding shop expansion, product distribution, and financial expenses. Contracts are included between artists and the Museum regarding the rights and royalties to shop products. Documents about the small claims court case between the Museum and Hilaire Dubourcq are included.
