Black Arts Seminar, 1969

The summer before the 1969 New Black Artists exhibit, the Education department offered a summer course called Black Arts Seminar. In it, youths were able to learn about Black art - from historical African art examples within the Museum itself, to contemporary Black artists working in the NYC area.
