What's up?, 1977-1978

 File — Box: 105, Folder: 3

Scope and Contents

From the Sub-Series:

What's Up? was a series of informal, drop-in gallery visits and art-making activities on the weekends for school aged children ages 8-12 years old. Because most of the classes were held in the galleries, art-making was limited. The first instance of this program was in Summer of 1974, as the summer series of programs called What's Up at the Brooklyn Museum. This series was repeated in the summer of 1975, and was reformed into a regular weekend series starting in late 1975. It was offered through 1995.

This sub series contains lesson plans, evaluations, correspondence, attendance/statistics, and project descriptions. Since there is only a small amount of material available here, researchers can also consult the Brooklyn Museum newsletters and calendars for more general information that are found in the Brooklyn Museum Publications Collection.
