The Museum Apprentice Program (MAP) was established in 2000 as a summer program for a group of teen apprentices to train, develop, and lead educational activities for children between ages 4 and 12. Between 2002 and 2003, the program was expanded to an all year long program. Museum Apprentices also worked on recruiting other members, designed teen open houses, participated in Museum led focus groups, researched objects for their lessons, and provided tours throughout the year.
